Terms and Conditions

By reading the articles contained in this site, or by using this site to review or purchase items, you agree to be bound to the following Terms and Conditions; these Terms and Conditions are subject to change from time to time but will always be present on the site for review. You are responsible for reading and understanding these Terms and Conditions.

Product Warranty, Returns and Exchanges

My Pilot Supply, Inc. (afterwords "the Site", "Our", or "Us") markets and sells products and accessories used by the aviation community for piloting, maintaining and using light, or general aviation, aircraft. In the future or in some cases the Site may sell parts used in the Airframe or Power-plant of an aircraft.

Our commitment to each product shall be limited to the specific warranty of the product manufacturer, and we may refer you to the manufacturer in some cases. For returns and refunds, we will refund 100% of the purchase price of the product for any reason (including dissatisfaction with the product), provided it is returned in the original condition with all packaging and documentation. Returns must be postmarked within 60 days from the date of purchase to qualify for a refund. EXCEPTION: This return policy does not apply to software, books and DVDs; in this case, only exchanges for defective products shall be provided. We consider this policy to be adequate for ensuring your satisfaction and confidence in purchasing products from us; however if a product is NOT returned in its original condition or without original packaging and documentation, My Pilot Supply Inc. shall not be responsible for for refunding the purchase price. We will, at our discretion, make every reasonable effort to refund the purchase price of a product not returned condition, however this should be considered a courtesy and not a requirement; any explanations regarding a less-than original condition should be provided in writing when returning the product. These products at My Pilot Supply Inc.'s discretion may or may not be eligible for a refund.

For defective products, our policy is generally to exchange the product, however our maximum legal obligation shall be the extent of the manufacturer's warranty, and we may refer you to the manufacturer for repairs or exchanges. Again, we will make every reasonable effort to exceed this standard in the interest of maintaining your business and referrals. All products sold on the Site are sold without representation as to suitability for any particular use; you assume all responsibility for maintenance of the product and its suitability.

Information Contained on this Site and Third Parties

The Site contains information from various sources, including but not limited to information and recommendations on aircraft maintenance techniques, flying techniques, flight planning, medical information, and other information more or less essential to safe flying and flight management. My Pilot Supply, Inc. makes no warranty as to the accuracy of this information, or is suitability for any application, type of aircraft, level of license or the like. You practice and use all information contained on this site at your own risk and agree to indemnify and hold My Pilot Supply Inc. harmless for any and all damages resulting from the practice of this information. Some or all of the information contained on the Site is or may be provided by third parties; in some cases, these third parties may pay My Pilot Supply Inc. in exchange for placing information on the Site. My Pilot Supply Inc. does not necessarily review the information provided by third parties and is not responsible for any inaccuracies contained therein.

Shipping

We make every possible effort to have all products shipped to you as quickly as possible, with proper padding and packaging, in an intact and undamaged condition. You are responsible for verifying that all products delivered to you are in good condition, (including testing of electronics and parts as soon as possible), and for notifying My Pilot Supply Inc. and the shipper of any damages or discrepancies. My Pilots Supply Inc. shall not be responsible for damage that occurs during shipping; however we will work with you to the degree that the shipper allows and that the manufacturer's warranty allows.

My Pilot Supply Inc. may at times experience out-of-stock conditions for certain products and reserves the right to separate orders, partially refund orders which cannot be filled entirely, or to drop-ship part or all of orders from a third party when necessary.

Privacy

We value the privacy of your information; our general policy is to provide the maximum amount of privacy possible to you. During the process of your visit to the Site, including navigating pages, creating an account, and making a purchase, we may collect information of a private nature from you, as well as cookies. Please read "Information and Myths about Cookies" Our general policy is to collect only such information as is necessary for a convenient transaction on your part and to allow for purchase of products. My Pilot Supply Inc. does not sell or provide your private information to any third party. You are also responsible for maintaining the privacy of your data with us by not providing your password or similar information to unauthorized parties.

From time to time, My Pilot Supply Inc. sends out newsletters, links to new articles, and other marketing methods including physical mailing. Our general policy is to send all such information on an "opt-in" basis; namely, you must specifically request this information to receive it. My Pilot Supply Inc. reserves the right to change this policy at any time but will make every effort to send only that information which is reasonably believed to be of use to the recipient; you may at any time "opt-out" of any marketing or contact information, with the exception of confirmation of your purchases, by signing in to your account.

If at any time you desire to cancel an account with us, you may do so on-line or in writing; however if you have made purchases with us, we reserve the right to retain your name, address and contact information as relates specifically to the purchase. My Pilot Supply Inc. may provide or sell general information to third parties for the purpose of market research, however any such information provided will not include personally identifiable data but merely demographics and other statistics.
